relax while you can

So I'm taking full advantage of these June (slow) days. Once July 4th hits, if it trends like the past 7 years, things go crazy. So this whole blogging thing and the computer in general will probably come to a screaming halt - especially come August! But for now.. blog it up! :) Yesterday was great. The sun finally showed itself with a good coupling heat and the surf was small but fun. Started the day off with a sunrise session with my Papa and then by 9:00am I was back at work starting a surf lesson. The lesson was super good, a 6yr old -8yr old and their Mom. Families are so much fun! Got done with the lesson, got home -- met up with some friends and played games in the back yard, read some of summer chosen -actually given- read (Black), long boarded around town and got home just in time to feast. My parents had a BBQ equipped with fresh caught salmon, twice baked potatoes, fruit salad, corn on the cob... ect. ect. ! We sat on the deck had a cold brew and enjoyed the company. Then us "kids" decided that we needed one more session of the day. We rallied down to our favorite surf spot and were in the water till 10pm. Moon light surfing! We relaxed on the shore for a few - and soaked up God's amazing creation! We ended the day with a tuckered out - couch relaxing, blob of T.V. watching till we decided to turn in.
