Habla Dias. God Speaks.
I sit surrounded by my family, that of my church and of my own. This Sunday morning unlike most was slow and the silence was broken by the wind, rain and and a young voice calling for her mother. This young voice, a soul untainted by stress and the day to day distractions. A child, intricate in design, a wobbling reminder of the Lord's creation. A day alone from work but in company of my family and my savior. A Sunday spent with family has proven to be needed and missed. We all sit around the couches, warm, relaxed and each occupied by our individual subjects. My mind still engaged in the message at church today - God Speaks. Psalms 19:1 " The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." As the words spilled from the pastor's heart and touched each and every wide-eyed body in front of him, my mind led to the prior few days of bouncing through God's playground. How can you fail to see his creativity when you are in the roaring ocean, how can you miss his artistic impulse when you watch the moon set and the sun rise? It's as if you hear the gospels through creation, it's as if all you need is the beauty of this world to realize his promise and love.
