So every Tuesday in Cannon Beach is the Farmer's Market. That also means every Tuesday a few of us get together and cook up some fresh finds. Yesterday was sushi. After work I jetted over to the festivities and to help roll some original creations. It was a blast. We had octopus, salmon, ahi, crab, an array of veggies ... and much more. John (our cook) made miso soup and home-made sauce for some of the rolls :) After stuffing ourselves with too much edamames, sushi, lots of sashimi, we busted out the sake and red wine - coupled with Boulderdash and soon to follow dessert. Sarah made a blueberry crisp with some fresh blueberries from the market. I didn't make it home until midnight (too late for me). BUT we had a blast and the 6:00 a.m. surf session was a little heavier in the belly than usual, the water is still warm and as always every wave is fun ---- too much fish!
