Merry Christmas

Even though the Christmas season has been less than wintery for our family. It still doesn't mean that the true meaning of Christmas has been lost, if anything it has been enhanced. This year we did the Hawaii vacation and no presents. This allowed our family to focus on each other and the tru meaning of Christmas - it was great. Christmas morning there were no presents, just us. We ate breakfast together and opened stockings. We walked on the beach and basked in the crisp morning. That night we headed over to my Grandad's for a seafood feast. Fresh crab, oysters, smoked sturgeon, prawns, and so much more. We played pool and watched a DVD of our vacation. We told stories and just simply were together. Even though our family is full of traditions and this year so many things were different, one stayed the same. The celebration of the Jesus Christ.
